Quick Safa snaps the deckle to the reel widths you actually stock, splits a blank that exceeds your corrugator into two pieces, and recalculates paper use from what the plant really cuts — then sends it to the job card.

Paper only, unless you add a conversion rate. Real consumption also depends on reel width, trim and process waste — all of which Quick Safa accounts for from your own stock and machine settings.

How to use it

The same engine that runs inside the Quick Safa app. Nothing is simplified for the website — if the number here is wrong, the number on our job cards is wrong too.

Cut size and deckle are the two figures this page does not give you. In the app they are snapped to the reel widths your plant actually stocks and split across two pieces when a blank is wider than your corrugator — real work a static page cannot do, and getting them wrong is worse than not having them.

  1. 01

    Enter the box size

Put in the internal length, width and height of the carton in inches, centimetres or millimetres.

  2. 02

    Pick the ply and flute

Choose 3, 5 or 7-ply and the flute you run — A, B, C, E, F, BC or EB. The take-up factor for that flute is applied to every fluted layer.

  3. 03

    Enter your paper grades

For each layer, give the grade, its GSM and your rate per kilogram. Use your last buying rate, not a list price.

  4. 04

    Read the cost

The calculator returns the board weight per box, the paper cost per box and the total for your order quantity, broken down by layer.

The same engine, with the rest of the plant attached.

In the app this number flows into the quotation, the job card, the material issue, the challan and the ledger — so nobody types it a second time.
